Business Analyst

Macildowie Finance are proud to be supporting a well known Derbyshire SME in supporting their recruitment of a Business Analyst into their team. With a turnover of circa £5m you will be a key business partner and the go-to individual for commercial and strategic decision support.

The role is paying £20-25k depending on experience.

You will be responsible for the analyses of existing business practices and development of efficiencies and cost saving measures.

Duties include:
- Supporting internal stakeholders with often complex data sets to influence commercial decisions.
- Assembling and summarising data to structure sophisticated reports on financial status and risk.
- Production of weekly flash P&L on a site by site basis and group basis.
- Implementation of new working practices within existing business framework to create efficiencies.
- Production of forecasting systems
- Responsible for the development of weekly and monthly marketing analysis as directed by Marketing Manager/Managing Director
- Working directly with marketing, accounts, HR and operations departments and providing relevant data and guidance for business improvements.
- Managing all the business's internal computer systems and software. For example SQL Database, ERP software, etc.

You will have intermediate Excel capability (Pivot tables & VLookup as a minimum). You will be a friendly and communicative individual and confident in influencing business decision through face-to-face communication and presentation.
