Reporting Accountant

A Reporting Accountant is required to support the timely and accurate provision of management information for internal and external stakeholders and to provide a strong internal control environment.

Key duties as Reporting Accountant:

• Preparation of monthly Management Accounts for selected companies in accordance with the group reporting matrix in effect from time to time
• Agreement of all intercompany balances with PGL and Partnership entities on a monthly basis
• Preparation of quarterly VAT returns for relevant entities within scope
• To monitor and report upon receivables monthly and take corrective action promptly to maintain the cashflow of the group
• Preparation of Statutory Accounts for all relevant entities for review
• To maintain compliance to ensure a timely and accurate year end close down
• Assistance with the preparation of periodic reporting packs
• Liaison with external auditors to ensure a timely and accurate year end close down
• Weekly treasury support in reviewing cash balances and making intercompany transfers
• Develop and monitor KPI reporting in line with the group's strategy and provide analysis / explanations of major variances
• Maintain Rolling Forecasts for all entities as required by group reporting policies

Key requirements to be considered for the position of Reporting Accountant:

• ACCA or ACA qualified
• Ideally someone who has come from a small to medium sized practice
• Strong technical skills as this role is more financial accounting heavy with some involvment with management accounts

Package on offer for the successful Reporting Accountant:

• Up to £42,000 basic
