Risk & Assurance Manager

Auditor, CIA Slough, 3 days/wk or equiv, low travel, Operational, Financial & IT Audit & Risk Management

A dynamic and growing International business based in the Slough area.

Your new role
Working for 3 days a week, or equivalent hours, you will lead and implement an effective risk and assurance capability for the business. Planning and conducting Operational, Financial and Compliance Audits to evaluate internal controls. Working closely with the Senior Management team and overseeing the co-source audit resource.
Managing ERM process across the business including regular performance of risk assessments across corporate functions.
Travel in this role is around 15%.


What you'll need to succeed
You will ideally be a qualified Internal Auditor (CIA/IIA/ ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with Operational business experience and Audit background. You will have management skills and experience leading an Internal Audit Function with strong Risk management experience.
You will need to be an excellent communicator, working closely with stakeholders across the business.
Experience in Pharmaceuticals, Research or Life Sciences industries will be an advantage.
