Our client, a well known multi site wholesale distribution business, requires an experienced CFO with a precise eye for detail to partner with a CEO to provide commercial support and ultimately drive growth through until strategic exit. The company is backed by a well regarded Private Equity House with a proven track record of achieving profitable growth.

The business has a strong outlook and priorities include quality of customer service with a focus on geographical growth and constant product development and improvement.

The responsibilities include but will not be limited to:

• Upgrading the sophistication and transparency of the financial structure
• Developing, monitoring, reporting and interpretation of business KPIs, and business strategy as part of management board team
• Evaluating profit and cost efficiencies in various areas of the organisation as needed
• Expertise in multi site businesses, inventory, cash flow and fast paced stock management
• Management of autonomous banking relationships
• Positioning the business as a financially attractive and valuable asset for its shareholders

The ideal candidate should be a hands-on, enthusiastic leader with experience working as CFO in a PE backed business or as a divisional FD in an autonomous business unit. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated team player to undertake an integral role in the growth and management of a standout wholesale business.
