A multi-national media business are looking to recruit a Senior Manager for and Operations and Business Development role.
They are looking for a strategic/operational leader to drive and manage operational excellence & technology platforms along with business development growth initiatives in support of EMEA's business strategies and key operating initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Operations and Technology
As part of enterprise-wide operational excellence program, lead and project manage new and ongoing process & systems change programs and initiatives across the region.
Areas of company-wide focus include developing best practices and sustainable business process in support of operating as One Global Team that focus on planning & performance management, driving efficiencies, being informed by data & analytics.
For project work-streams, develop EMEA resource plans, project teams to include cross-functional staff across the region. Develop communications and training plans in support of successful roll out of new processes.
Identify and action technology solutions that will enhance EMEA's business processes
Lead business planning exercise in support of EMEA technology investments that factor both short and long term requirements and provide meaningful ROI
2.Business Development
Lead business development efforts in support of European Strategy Plan, Country Manager Strategy Plan alignment, new market entry, new business models, new properties, etc.
Partner with EMEA executives to implement strategy, design performance metrics and monitor planned results. Examples include: acquisitions, business combinations, new lines of business, market entry strategies, new business model paradigms, strategic alliances, etc.
As the business evolves, support evaluation of organisational realignment opportunities. Ensure that regional business unit resource plans are aligned with strategic direction and optimise return on investment.
The successful candidate will be someone who has experience in project management, operations planning, finance, strategic planning, business planning or business development.
Ideally they will have experience in consumer products, media or entertainment and have come from a Large consulting firm.
