Assistant Financial Accountant

A global scientific research provider is currently in need of an Assistant Financial Accountant to join their high-performing finance function on a permanent basis. This is a truly excellent opportunity for an intelligent candidate with experience of complex reconciliations to enter a role in which they will secure full study support and learn all aspects of financial accounting.

As the Assistant Financial Accountant you will be responsible for:
-Double entry bookkeeping
-Complex balance sheet and bank reconciliations
-Working across the finance department to secure figures and ensure their accuracy
-Work closely with various teams including grants and treasury
-Supporting the completion of statutory accounts

The successful candidate will:
-Be someone who has started studying for a formal accountancy qualification (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) or who is planning to
-Have strong experience of complex financial reconciliations
