Finance Technician

Our client is a leading industrial energy, utilities and services provider based in Teesside.

With major customers in key UK industrial manufacturing sectors including chemicals and petrochemicals, biofuels and recycling, the business is investing heavily in greener and more renewable forms of energy.

They are now currently looking to recruit a Finance Technician to join them to provide financial support to one of their business areas and compile monthly management information to interpret and help improve company performance.

Calculating and raising invoices to customers, you will carry out monthly analysis of variable and fixed costs across the business and provide financial information to the business by preparing and delivering accurate and timely key monthly business reports.  Responding to sales and cost queries from internal customers, you will act as the first point of contact for external customers for all invoicing queries and reconcile Maximo and SAP costs, investigating and correcting any errors.

The ideal candidate will be full or part qualified in AAT with excellent IT skills (to include Excel, Maximo and SAP) as well as good analytical and numerical skills.   Their emphasis is on finding a candidate who is a strong team player with a flexible and positive attitude and strong communication skills.
