Tax Manager

They place great importance on the agile environment they operate in as it enables them to respond quickly to changes in the market thereby helping clients to grow in what is an increasingly complex tax environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Proactively interpreting tax laws and regulations to solve tax related business problems
• Maintaining and developing a detailed understanding of taxation regulations, industry standards, best practice and client requirements with a particular focus on VAT
• Developing new solutions at the cutting edge of corporate tax planning and experience on a range of advisory and compliance projects
• Passion for supporting current and prospective client sales / service activities

The Successful Applicant

• CTA / ACA qualified or equivalent HMRC trained with at least 5 years post qualification experience
• Proven track record in tax ideally gained within a professional service firm
• Capability to provide excellent client service with meticulous care
• Initiative and ability to think beyond conventional boundaries
• Complex problem solving ability within a commercial environment
• Self-motivated, excellent communicator and enthusiastic team player

This position will be suited to an ambitious Tax Manager seeking to fast track their career to Associate and ultimately to Partner level
