Divisional Finance Director

The National Express Group is a FTSE 250 listed plc, employing 45,000 people and operating over 27,000 vehicles. The high profile UK Bus division with a £290 million turnover, is now seeking a talented individual to join them as Divisional Finance Director. You will lead their finance function, with the potential to progress within either finance or general management in the future.

This is a key senior leadership role across the business and working closely with the Divisional MD you will be responsible for providing commercial insight and analysis to improve business performance of the division as a whole. Providing strategic input on major decisions you will support with detailed analysis and the development of robust business cases. You will also ensure that a high calibre and effective controls framework exists across the division.

To be successful in this role you will be a fully qualified accountant with a demonstrable track record of providing astute financial leadership in a high pressure corporate environment. You will have first class leadership skills and the ability to demonstrate effective business partnering at a very senior level.
