Commercial Finance Analyst

A fantastic opportunity for a innovative, market leading company are currently recruiting for a Commercial Finance Analyst in Cheshire.

This role is to provide robust and accurate reporting and analysis to the Finance Team and wider business.

Key responsibilities as a Commercial Finance Analyst:

• Weekly and monthly reporting of monthly management information on revenue and forecast
• Ensuring that monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts are delivered to deadlines with provision of supporting analysis.
• Preparation of monthly analytics for inclusion within the monthly management accounts and to assist the core finance team with variance analysis.
• Developing a good understanding of all areas of the business to reduce key dependency risks.
• Building relationships with key departments to support budgeting and forecasting.
• Work with key departments on an ad hoc basis to assist in the decision making process.
• Provide ad hoc analysis in a timely manner to support business development.

You will have:

• Previous Experience in a similar role or within management accounts (This level of experience is intended as a guidance only and does not preclude someone with more or less experience from applying for the role)
• Studying towards CIMA/ACCA
• Strong Analytical Skills
• Advanced Excel Skills
• SAP
• Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and be able to work well under pressure
• Be able to work well in a team and also on your own initiative
• Be highly self motivated and a confident communicator
