Our client is a national construction business based in Canterbury. Due to recent changes within departmental structure, there is now a need for a part-time Finance Director.
This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to work in a varied, hands-on role. Day to day, the successful candidate will be involved in a mix of project work, employee development and financial leadership. As such, an ability to provide workable solutions across various business areas is essential.
Duties to include:
- Working alongside the leadership team to formulate business strategy
- Developing the skills of the finance team
- Growing stakeholder relationships
- Streamlining systems to support future growth ambitions
- Creating a robust financial reporting framework
- Advising on business critical decisions and contract negotiations
Candidates must be fully qualified accountants with a background in the construction sector. Among the desired qualities for this role, applicants will have an innate ability to lead and inspire, possess demonstrable experience of developing a first-rate finance function, and have impeccable interpersonal skills.
