Commercial Finance Manager

You will manage the provision of relevant, appropriate and timely information within the Finance Team and to the wider business to ensure all reporting is robust and analysis is accurate and appropriate for decision making.

Roe description:

• Preparing and analysing weekly and monthly management information on revenue, forecasts, recoverability and utilization

• Add context to revenue variance analysis against forecasts through constant monitoring, and investigation of cause and mitigating effects in conjunction with client services team

• Assisting the Commercial Manager with the preparation and coordination of the monthly reports for submission to executive meetings

• Management of WIP & Billing for a prescribed number of agency clients ensuring recovery of committed costs

• Exploring development of new reports and information systems in line with the changing needs of the business

• Continually working towards the provision of on-going training and inductions to account teams to introduce systems and workflows

Experience required:

• Experience in a finance / management accounting role, preferably in commercial analysis

• Extensive Excel skills including: vLookups; Pivot tables; nested IF statements, manipulation of data & formatting

• SAP experience

• Ability to structure reports

• High level of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail

• Confident self-starter capable of handling high volumes of work and data

• Flexible to be able to adapt and respond to meet changing agency needs and requirements
