Financial Controller for a reputable manufacturing business based in Stoke. £35k

Our client is an established manufacturer and a leader in their field who have enjoyed continued growth. Seeking a Financial Controller, who will be based in Stoke.

Your new role
As the Financial Controller you will keep accounts up to date and be responsible for every profit and loss and balance sheet movement. You will produce monthly management accounts and quarterly cash flow forecasts. Manage the cash flow to keep supply and customer deliveries and services on target and manage the transactional accounts (sales and purchase ledger etc) You will also complete all legal requirements such as VAT, HMRC, NI & Payroll submissions and liaise with the wider business managers to understand sales trends, stock holding and costing.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have proven experience in a similar role and ideally be qualified or working towards a formal accountancy qualification. Those qualified by experience are also considered. You will be confident completing all elements of monthly management accounts and reporting for cash flow and P&L and ideally have experience working with lending banks, and can mitigate financial risks related to interest rates and foreign exchange.
