Finance Director                                                                                  Manchester/Lancashire – Circa £110,000 + bonus + benefits                   

A market leader in its field, this profitable and highly ambitious company manufactures a range of fast-moving consumer products on behalf of the major multiples across the broader retail sector. The business, which boasts an impressive track record of growth and with ongoing investment in their capital infrastructure they are now seeking to appoint a commercially-oriented Finance Director to join its business with accountability for UK operations.

The Finance Director will oversee the financial management of the business and take responsibility for the flow of information to the MD. They will work in partnership with the senior management team to drive efficiencies across the operational business, maintaining a critical focus on cash flow, financial control and reporting functions whilst driving the analysis of performance to maximise profitability and growth. They will also take accountability for the long term planning cycle across sales and operations with a keen focus on risk management and compliance.

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with a track record of leadership within a diverse and highly complex customer-centric manufacturing environment. Analytically minded, they will have exceptional commercial, financial and analytical skills, coupled with a rigorous approach to planning, performance and a knowledge of systems and processes. In addition to their technical capabilities, they will also have outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills, with the capacity to engage at all levels across the business, to solve complex strategic challenges through deliverable and profitable solutions.
