My client, a Manchester based services business is seeking to strengthen the team by bringing in a commercially minded Management Accountant. This position will be reporting into the Financial Controller, however will regularly be working directly with the Finance Director.

- Maintain accounting ledgers in accordance with existing company procedures and GAAP
- Produce the Management accounts and Board pack for the Group
- Act as Super User on MS Nav and develop our current suite of MI
- Prepare accurate and timely invoices as instructed by senior sales or operations staff which is a key and critical part of the business
- Prepare accurate management accounts for the organisation to monitor actual costs against agreed budgets
- Development of financial and management reporting capabilities in Navision. Be the Super User and point of contact for any Navision queries.
- Assist the finance management team with production of all short, medium and long-term budgets and forecasts regarding revenue, costs and cash to support operational and strategic plans
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliation for review by FC and FD
- Prepare and submit monthly factoring account reporting on a timely basis
- Prepare and reconcile the group quarterly VAT return
- Assist and take ownership for analysing the company's profitability
Requirements
- ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified Accountant with min 5 years' prior experience
- Experience with Navision is essential
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong, rounded accountant with strong hands on experience of both Financial and Management Accounts
