Statutory Compliance Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Group are pleased to be supporting a global manufacturing business as they look to recruit a Qualified Statutory Accountant to work from their offices on the outskirts of Sheffield.

As part of the Statutory Accounts team the successful candidate will be required to produce accurate financial accounts under New UK GAAP and coordinate a number of internal audit processes for a number of UK business.

As a business with an impressive global footprint you will also be required to produce internal US tax and Statutory reporting requirements.

Key duties and responsibilities will include:

* Preparation of UK and US statutory accounts
* Manage and lead on efficient audit processes
* Prepare UK corporate tax returns
* Be a key point of contact for Tax queries

The successful candidate will require the following:

* ACA/ACCA qualified accountant
* Strong Statutory accounts prep experience under IFRS102
* Strong Audit skills and experience
* Proficient in preparing corporation Tax returns
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong internal and external working relationships
* Keen eye for detail
* Must be willing to travel (UK based)
