Role

To work alongside and support the Group Treasurer in group wide Treasury & Tax initiatives and activities, with specific initial focus on:
*cash and liquidity management - driving a global approach to cash management.
*cash flow reporting, forecasting and driving increased operational cash conversion across the group;
*the approach to various Transfer Pricing activities across the group's subsidiaries;
*the implementation of group wide treasury policy and best practice procedures.

Core Responsibilities (to include)

Cash Flow Reporting and Forecasting

Development of the existing weekly cash forecasting process through the group consolidation system ("BPC"), to include:
-Weekly consolidation (including overlay of group driven flows), review, variance analysis and challenge;
-Liaising with all Business Units ("BU") FC's/CFO'S - on submissions, monthly reconciliations & variance analysis / commentary;
-Weekly and Monthly report out to key stakeholder (Exec and Senior Management);
-Extend forecast period to 12 months;
-Develop ancillary reporting, around intercompany settlements, tracking of M&A spend and acquisition related activity - to assist in operating cash conversion analysis.
-Drive monthly cash conversion reporting at individual BU and consolidated level.

Cash & Liquidity Management

Day to Day Cash Management for the Central and Holdings Companies

Support the Treasurer to design and implement a group wide (global) approach to cash management utilising a centralised Treasury company.


Assist Treasurer in monthly Business Unit Financial Reports (BUFR) reviews, with a particular focus on balance sheet, cash flow, and operating cash conversion targets. Driving the commentary for the monthly board reporting, focusing on cash flow, cash conversion, FX and covenant compliance.


Establish and maintain a group wide debt database, incorporating the existing external debt and hedging interest tracker (to include shareholder and intercompany lending). Leading a 'clean up' of intercompany trading and loan positions.

Assist with year-end (annual) disclosure and reporting requirements as appropriate.


Control Environment/Governance

Working with the Treasurer to document, and roll out the Group wide Treasury Policy and accompanying procedures including where relevant the respective Delegation of Authority (DofA) processes.

Ongoing monitoring of compliance with Treasury Policy


Project Work

As required - to include the support of Insurance & M&A activities.


Qualifications/Experience

AMCT (or studying toward)/Qualified Accountant (or studying toward) preferred but not essential
Experience of working within a PE backed or leveraged environment an advantage (but not essential).
Experience of managing or implementing global (multi-currency) pooling / cash management structures essential.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint Skills
