Manufacturing Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Manufacturing Accountant. This opportunity is to work for a large and successful manufacturing business who are looking to recruit an ambitious newly qualified accountant into this newly created role. Based on the outskirts of Doncaster, this company can offer its employees a clear progression plan and a solid base from which to expand their skill-set and develop their career.

This role would best suit an ambitious newly qualified accountant who has built up a strong management accounts/technical understanding to support their studies. Due to the fast paced nature of this business it is important that all applicants have a confident approach when dealing with senior management and Directors.

Duties and responsibilities will include:

*Period-end reporting
*Detailed Analysis of variances and trends
*Raw material and labour costing
*Preparation of operational budgets and forecasts
*Produce insightful analysis to aid in cost saving initiatives /improve efficiencies
*Stock reporting

The successful Management Accountant will need to be able to demonstrate the following qualifications and experience:

*ACA/ACCA Qualified
*Sound technical accounting skills
*Excellent analytical skills and a keen eye for detail
*The right attributes to act as a lynch pin between finance and the manufacturing function
* Strong IT skills including advanced Excel and experience on an ERP system
