Finance Director

Our client is an SME organisation who are profitable and are growing, they operate in the automotive industry. Due to the growth and current financial position the Bank have recently recommended that an FD be appointed to ensure future growth and company expansion. Working closely with the MD and management team your role will be to help develop new KPI's, analysis of current contracts, help negotiate new contracts and ensure jobs are correctly costed and estimated. Above all you will act as a sounding board to the MD and together you will provide new ideas and inspire the company. You will be involved with a multitude of projects such  as trends, analysis of Gross Margins, contracting hours and also HR related activities.It is also a possibility that through growth you may also help to market the company for a sales in 3 - 5 years time. Im looking for someone with energy who can get involved with the company and use their experience to great effect. It would be advantageous if the candidate has either engineering, costing or even experience of the insurance industry. This is a new role and therefore there is no set job specification its going to be down to you to inspire growth and change to improve the finance and operations of a SME.
