The Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a Private Equity backed B2B technology provider. Through recent investment from a US PE firm, they now have an ambitious plan of organic and acquisitive growth in place, with a view towards a potential exit in the next 4/5 years. The £120m t/o business is therefore seeking an experienced CFO to drive the business towards an exit.

The Role

This is a crucial board-level role for the business that will entail working closely alongside the board of directors and PE investors on the development of the business preparing the process to an exit. The role is a broad role, as well as being hands-on the role will require good soft skills and strategic leadership; building strong relationship with stakeholders, PE investors and bankers, dealing with the legal department on the commercial aspects of the business, managing procurement and optimising leveraged bank facilities.

The Requirements

To apply for this role, you will need to be a qualified Accountant ideally with previous experience working within a private equity-backed business; essentially with technology based industries.  The ideal candidate for this role will have high emotional intelligence and diversity skills, a high-energy approach, and happy getting hands-on as well having strategic/ commercial leadership skills.
