Our client, an instantly recognisable global brand and market leader are looking to source an ambitious finance analyst to join their commercial finance team. The role, working closely with senior management will involve analysis and reviewing ongoing project costs and will suit a finalist level / newly qualified accountant. -Support the Acquisitions team on assessing prospective new store openings
-Analyse the results from recent new store openings
-Produce detailed financial analysis for potential relocations, extensions & closures
-Provide recommendations on lease renewals and freehold acquisitions
-Management and reconciliation of key balance sheet accounts
-Support the projection and annual financial planning process
-Manage key internal controls and support the year-round audit process
The ideal candidate will be a finalist / newly qualified accountant with excellent communication skills and a strong attention to detail. An advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint will be essential and strong analytical skills will also be vital in this role.
