Accounting Controller, Watford
£55,000 - £65,000 per annum plus Excellent Benefits and Bonus

Our client, a household brand based in Watford has a rare opportunity for an Accounting Controller to make the move into a fast paced, high profile role within a leading brand.
This is a new exiting role and one that will continue to grow over the next 12/24 months, allowing a route to a Financial Director role.

Key Duties
- Motivate the finance team to deliver timely and high quality work
- Responsible for Statutory financial and Tax reporting filings of the entity in accordance with local regulation and local corporate accounting and reporting
- Ensure local compliance with internal and external financial regulations
- Main point of contact for tax authorities and stat auditors
- Quarterly variance review owner of P&L
- Provide financial support and guidance to management team, participating in management meetings and business decisions
- Provide management reporting with variance analysis and recommendations
- Partner with region FP&A team with the support of Financial Analyst to provide accurate, relevant and timely analysis of business drivers to required budgeting, reporting and forecasting processes

The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a strong academic record. You will have strong technical knowledge and a good awareness of the GAAP and IFRS principles. You must be flexible, organised and able to meet strict deadlines. You will have excellent attention to detail, first class communication skills and the ability to work closely with Senior Management.
