Senior Management Accountant

This newly created role is working for an exciting, fast paced, dynamic, Global business. Reporting to the Global Finance Manager, the role of Senior Management will provide efficient management accounts reporting in order to support a team of Financial Analysts through efficient reporting and continuous improvements.

You must possess a full accountancy qualification (ACCA. CIMA. ACA) and have proven managerial experience.

Key responsibilities include:
• Management of the monthly management accounts process for all corporate and business units, including ensuring timely and accurate reporting of numbers
• Management of a team of Management Accounts support the business with workforce planning and systems related questions and queries
• Being a first point contact between the Business Services team and the Management Accounting team
• Approval of bank payments
• Review and sign off of balance sheet reconciliations for the accruals, deferred revenue, prepayment and other revenue and cost driven balance sheet accounts
• First point contact for queries relating to Indirect Overhead Allocations to products
• Overseeing and assisting with build of management fee recharge model for transfer pricing purposes and transaction of resulting intercompany batches
• Assist the Global Finance Manager with management accounting projects
• Identify continuous improvements within the management accounting function, through review of processes and working with the Global Finance Manager to implement changes
• Ensuring alignment of processes and controls across global management accounting functions
• Handle all ad-hoc requests in relation to the operational management accounting process
