Accounts Assistant

My client is a leading accountancy practice based in Sheffield, they are going from strength to strength and are an excellent training ground for individuals looking for the next step.

The Role
My client is looking for a highly motivated, well organised individual to join this rapidly expanding accounts team. Key responsibilities include:

*Assisting with the preparation of statutory financial accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
*Assisting with management account production for clients
*Assisting with some audit work including reviewing clients systems and controls
*Assisting with the preparation of draft tax computations
*Preparation of VAT returns

The Person
You will have at least two to three years' experience of working in professional practice and either be currently studying ACA or ACCA or completed AAT and be looking to study further. Applications are also welcomed from individuals who are qualified by experience. You will be capable of managing your own workload and comfortable working in a team environment.
