A well established SME currently have an outstanding opportunity for a Financial Controller to join their Rotherham based head office.

This family run engineering business are looking for a FC who is keen to establish themselves over the coming years. Based within easy commutable distance from the M1 the company are looking to maintain their position in the market whilst looking at steady growth.

Working closely with the Managing Director and External Accountants you will be responsible for
*Produce monthly management accounts
*Produce full reporting pack
*Accruals and Prepayments
*Balance Sheet Reconciliations
*Profit and Loss
*Preparation of Annual Budget and forecasts
*Complex monthly reporting
*Variance Analysis
*Monthly bank reconciliations
*Cash flow reconciliation on a daily basis to meet cash and debtors day targets
*Preparing wages for employees on a monthly basis also completing sales commission statements.
*Deliver management information
*Demonstrating high level attention to detail
*Prepare and electronically send VAT return every quarter
*Provide information to the company's accountants/ Key contact with the bank
*Receive all purchase invoices and ensure they are appropriately authorised in accordance with the financial procedures.
*Make payment of all authorised invoices by BACS or cheque
*Raise all invoices and requests for payments
*Resolve all supplier enquires
*Receive all receipts and ensure payments are appropriately allocated.
*Deposit cheques and monies at bank

This is an all-round role in a welcoming environment. You must be able to interact with everyone within the business and be willing to work in a traditional environment.
