Financial Controller

The Company

Brewster Pratap are delighted to be working exclusively with a growing manufacturing company based in Doncaster who are looking to recruit for a Financial Controller. Due to expansion plan this is a newly created position for an ambitious Qualified Accountant

The Job

This job will report to the Finance Director and will be responsible for the day to day management of the finance department and ensuring accuracy and integrity in the business financial reporting

Work closely with the management team to develop the current business processes and the accuracy of these processes

Support the Finance Director in driving a culture of openess and integrity through the business monthly reports and submission to Group

Develop cash forecasting models to support the business focus on cash management

Develop and maintain adequate control of assets in line with Group guidelines

Monitoring, validation and reconciling output information from the costing and financial systems

Manage and organise the month end procedure and the preparation of monthly management accounts, periodic forecasts and year end statutory accounts

Proactively work with all key stakeholders to develop strong relationships

Support the review and challenge of financial reporting

Manage the finance team

The Person

Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with proven track record of preparing statutory accounts. You will be able to communicate effectively at all levels across the business. You will be a proven leader in a dynamic fast paced environment
