I am currently recruiting for a brilliant tax role based near Bournemouth for a top 20 firm. They are looking for a Tax Senior / Assistant Manager with a proven track record within practice. Applicants must be ATT or CTA qualified and looking for a role in which you can progress.

My client are a top 20 Accountancy Practice based near Bournemouth. They have a brilliant reputation locally and nationally and are extremely well regarded by their client. They have grown rapidly over the last 2 years and as such are looking to recruit people who want to grow with the business for the long-term.
Description
- Be responsible for a portfolio of tax cases
- Working with partners and managers on new assignments and new client work
- Responsible for building on private client tax services in the New Forest including:
- Actively promoting the firm and its services to clients and targets
- Attendance at seminars and meetings with clients, introducers and targets
- Supervise inputting of information where this is done by other members of staff
- Prepare complex returns and review returns prepared by other members of the personal tax team, generally the more complex returns
- Collate and maintain client information
- Correspond and deal with client enquires in relation to their tax issues and liabilities, ensuring any unresolved issues are referred to the appropriate Partner; including the initial handling/ identification of both tax planning and tax investigation issues
- Maintain direct contact with clients and HMRC in the delivery of an excellent client service
Profile
- Previous experience in a tax compliance role
- CTA qualified
- Excellent up to date technical knowledge
- Commercially astute, with keen analytical and problem-solving mind
- Organised and able to plan time efficiently in order to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport quickly with clients
- Professional and discreet in demonstrating client care
- Proficient in MS Office 2007 (ie Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Be fully aware and conversant with compliance standards
- Exposure to providing a tax advisory service an advantage
- Knowledge of Digita advantageous
- Ability to establish and maintain a network of contacts and profile in the business community
