Assistant Management Accountant - 6 Months

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to join an established and high performing Management Accounting team reporting directly to the Finance Manager.

This role is ideal for a part qualified Assistant Accountant who is looking to progress their skills and get some exposure in Management Accounts.

THE ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Production of Monthly Management Accounts including analysis and commentary.
Preparation of accruals and prepayments
Month end journals
Stock reconciliations and adjustments
Management of the Fixed Asset Ledger
Production of daily sales reports
Inter company transactions
VAT returns
EC sales
Calculation and sign off of rebates

EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:

This is a challenging and rewarding role with significant interaction with senior management. Applicants should be self-motivated, enthusiastic individuals who are comfortable communicating at all levels of the business.

Ideally part qualified Accountant, actively studying towards qualification.
Attention to detail, always looking for continuous improvement.
Take personal responsibility to deliver to tight timescales
Outgoing individual capable of challenging a range of stakeholders
Proven experience of improving financial / reporting processes in a corporate environment.
Applicants should be PC literate with good customer services and communication skills
