Financial Analyst

Our client, a leading logistics and distribution business, are looking to appoint an Interim Financial Analyst. The purpose of the role is to support the Financial Planning & Analysis Controller by taking ownership of key management reporting and planning activities as well as to provide financial planning, analysis and evaluation support to colleagues in functions across the business.

Key accountabilities will include supporting and influencing the Sales Team, preparing annual and quarterly budgets, enhancing both business plans and models, analysing organisational risk and opportunity, providing the marketing team with spend evaluations and post sales activity data, delivering robust pricing strategies, deputising where appropriate for the FC, supporting innovative brand planning and implementing new financial KPIs.

The successful applicant will have a demonstrable background in carrying out successful interim assignments with relevant commercial and analytical experience. In addition to this advanced Excel skills with an ability to deal with large volumes of data and interface with the BI team are key attributes needed.
