Risk Operations Manager

A leading provider of financial services investments, savings and protection products, is seeking an experienced second line of defence Risk Operations Manager to join their recently restructured Risk department.

You will maintain a compliant and well documented system of Governance and Risk Management, identifying improvements and development to the Risk Framework, monitoring compliance with it and providing risk partnering to the business as 2nd line oversight. You will also take responsibility for the planning of the risk events calendar and ensuring and reporting on the progress of this, working closely with the CRO.

You will have second line of defence risk experience gained within the insurance sector with knowledge of Solvency II and experience of leading design and delivery of complex work products in the risk management arena.

This is a newly created Manager level role that reports into the Head of Risk Partnering and Operations. Whilst it won't be managing any staff at this stage, further growth in the department is planned and therefore they are keen to hear from motivated and ambitious candidates who have a desire for self development and growth towards a leadership role.
