Finance Manager

Our client, a FTSE 100 employer of choice that offers unrivalled career progression and development opportunities, is looking to source a top calibre, technically strong Fixed Assets Finance Manager to join its talented team.

The role will report to a Financial Controller and be directly responsible for the fixed assets team, developing a 'best in class' financial and reporting capability, as well as ensuring accurate records are maintained for over £3bn of fixed assets.

Main duties include:
* Financial reporting, ensuring the integrity and full statutory compliance of financial statements, providing high quality first line reporting
* Financial control, ensuring controls are designed and operated effectively through the control framework and that processes are documented and matrices are developed
* Reconciling areas of the balance sheet for intangible and tangible assets as required; ensuring risks and opportunities are identified
* Manage relationship with external auditors
* Support the transformation agenda for the asset process
* Partnering with the Property Finance Team to ensure internal processes are understood
* Manage, develop and mentor a team of 4 Analysts, identifying and creating and environment of continuous improvement
* Deputise for FC

The Candidate
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA Qualified
- Strong academic record
- Previous experience of managing teams within a reporting and control role
- Relevant exposure to Fixed Assets accounting
- Excellent inter-personal skills including influencing at all levels
- A track record of adding value and driving improvements
