My client is a Global Media business seeking an Interim for a period of 6 weeks to help both the Finance and the Technical Services department pull specific data into one accurate database. As a result the business now has a high volume of data on two separate systems that needs to be systematically reconciled.
Key duties:
- Identify individual pieces of data only visible in one system
- Identify individual pieces of data with a different value in the new system vs. the old
- Establish how much of the data cannot be linked using the common identifiers
- Confirm Vista data agrees to the daily DPJ’s.
- Unmatched transactions to be assigned a cause (hypothesis led) by business working with the data analyst
- Create a tool / reconciliation process which can be used by internal resources if further need arises
- Support IT and FC with remedial actions
The profile:
- Experience in reviewing high volume (circa 1 million plus) customer transactions in order to capture matched and unmatched transactions
- Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL server
- Able to find flaws within big data sets and suggest remedial actions
