Retail Finance Business Partner

Our client, a dynamic and innovative retailer with a highly regarded talent planning structure that consistently enables the best and brightest to achieve their professional goals, is looking to source a charismatic and ambitious Retail Finance Business Partner to join its talented team. This is a visible role within the UK team, providing support to the Retail Managers, Operations Directors and Development Managers, to deliver business growth.

Main duties include:
* Responsibility for supporting assigned stores with sales of c£750m
* Producing accurate planning that identifies key issues and drives action
* Delivering focused insight on business performance, communicating current trends, challenges and opportunities
* Key finance representative providing business partnering through financial updates, analysis on company, region and area performance and engaging with non-finance stakeholders
* Spending time with operators to drive greater understanding of profit performance and enhance action planning
* Providing regular ad hoc analysis that identifies key issues stimulating conversation

The successful candidate will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified and have a strong academic record, including a minimum 2:1 degree from a well-regarded institution. You must also have exceptional Excel and modelling skills, coupled with a proven track record in a commercially focused role, ideally gleaned in a fast-paced, consumer facing sector (retail/fmcg/leisure/hospitality).

You must consider yourself to be a confident, credible and effective communicator, capable of building sustainable relationships with non-finance stakeholders. You will also demonstrate a passion and enthusiasm for maximising business performance and utilise an inquisitive and challenging nature in order to expose the real commercial drivers and their impact on sales.
