Head Office Analyst

Offered on a 12 month FTC, this broad role will be primarily responsible for the accounting and internal and external reporting within our Client's Head Office function.

Our Client operate within the manufacturing sector and are one of the UK's largest Defence firms (listed on the FTSE 250 Index).

Description

The role will involve:

• Control of Group external borrowings and associated accruals and payments
• Monthly preparation and reporting of Head Office management accounts
• Assisting with preparation of the annual budget, strategic plans and forecasts
• Preparation of monthly cash flow forecasts
• Assisting with completion of half year and annual accounts (including tax accounting) prepared under UK GAAP and IFRS
• Ongoing review of processes and assisting with the continuous improvement of processes and controls

Profile

The successful candidate will:

• Be a Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) ideally with a prior Practice background and subsequent experience in Industry
• Have 5+ years PQE
• Have experience dealing with foreign exchange transactions and accounting
• Had had exposure to preparation of Corporation Tax and relevant computations
• Possess strong technical ability with significant reporting experience
• Be a good communicator across all levels of business
