Overview of the role:

The role’s primary responsibility is to drive the month end forecasting process alongside finance colleagues across the business and support the wider FP&A team with board reporting, budgeting and ad-hoc tasks. This is an excellent opportunity to gain a high level view of the structure and performance of the company in a high profile team.

Your Responsibilities:

• Work alongside the business to consolidate the monthly forecast and construct the pack for upwards presentation
• Tracking and forecast of exceptional items
• Support of monthly board reporting processes
• Support budget process, specific support around COGNOS load process.
• Adhoc cost reviews
• Adhoc strategic financial projects

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified accountant with 1-4 years PQE
• Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and work as part of a team
• Ability to manage competing priorities, and adapt to the challenges you face
• Ability to hold finance partners to account on agreed timescales
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and ability to identify and solve issues
• Knowledge of COGNOS / TM1 would be beneficial but not essential
