Due to this expansion they also moved into new offices in Hessle, East Yorkshire.
Victoria Plum have won Retailer of the Year, consistently feature in the top 10 SME rankings for Yorkshire and also appeared in the Sunday Times Profit Track 100. Despite being a national retailer, Victoria Plum remain proud of their local roots and they are headquartered in Hessle, East Yorkshire.
Detailed Job Description
Due to this expansion we are partnering with Victoria Plum to source a key member of their Commercial Finance team to help shape the direction of the business at a key period of time in its growth cycle.
The key to the success of Victoria Plums' strategic objectives lie within their understanding and ability to exploit the data they collect as an online retailer, and such data will be crucial to gaining a competitive advantage. It's here where a large opportunity exists for a qualified accountant looking for their next step within commercial finance.
The role will cover all aspects of volume, revenue, operations and profit analysis to provide the business insight required to aid decision making among senior leaders and the executive team.
The role holder will provide specific support on key business initiatives and support the wider business through business partnering.
You will also ensure the quality and accuracy of reporting and analysis, and spotting opportunities through ad hoc analysis will be a crucial objective of this role.
