Senior Management Accountant/Head of Finance

London

Salary £60,000-75,000 + Excellent Benefits

 

Our client comprises a group of growing businesses operating in the fast-paced high end property sector, covering real estate investment and development, interior design, and property management.

At an exciting time of growth, they now seek to welcome a qualified accountant as a key part of the senior team based at their central London Head office. With a view to becoming Finance Director in coming years, this is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic and ambitious individual to gain valuable experience with support to grow into a Director role.

You will:

  • Be ACA qualified (or equivalent) from a top tier accounting firm
  • Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be commercially orientated
  • Have knowledge of (or keen interest in) the real estate industry
  • Enjoy immersing yourself in a variety of businesses
  • Be highly accurate with strong attention to detail
  • Be flexible and proactive with a willingness to ‘jump in’ to a variety of tasks

Post qualification experience within the SME sector and ideally real estate would be desirable, though we welcome and will consider applications from talented individuals who are 3+ years post qualification.

Initial responsibilities (dependent upon experience) could include:

  • Management accounting responsibilities
  • Budget monitoring
  • Authorisation of bank payments
  • Preparing cashflows and projections with management
  • Preparing monthly management accounts for shareholders
  • Creating and monitoring KPIs for wider team
  • Creating development and fee proposals
  • Client accounts responsibilities
  • Management of client floats held
  • Client expenditure process
  • Client payment preparation
  • Collection and distribution of rents
  • Nonresident landlord scheme administration
  • Preparation of client statements
