Job Purpose

To be a key member of the Services Platform leadership team and finance business partner for the services platform. The Services Platform mission is to provide a one stop shop for the provision of a broad range of supporting services to 4 business groups; Media Solutions, Corporate & Education, Healthcare and Digital Cinema. 

These services cover the complete customer lifecycle; Solution design, Bids and proposal, PMO post sales service and support, Partner and third party supplier management.

Key Responsibilities & Scope for Decision Making

Accountabilities

• To be a key member of the Services Platform leadership team

• To produce Services shadow P&L

• To produce reporting for Business Group Heads on the services P&L

• To provide analysis of critical commercial aspects of the services P&L performance as well as Service Platform specific commercial issues

• To manage Services Analyst

Responsibilities

• Finance Partner for the services platform, responsible for managing and reporting whilst recommending improvements

• For reporting actual Sales and GP maintenance contract to business group heads including attachment ratio and contract profitability reporting

• For reporting actual warranty to business group heads and Japan

• For development of Services (& Solutions) reporting including new tool and reconciling to actuals

• To be liaison between Service and Business Control

• For month end processing of costs, accruals, provisions, revenue recognition and recoveries

• For SGA Service and Warranty management including monitoring forecasting and month end processing

• To be ERPC liaison including integration of results into PSE

Qualifications & Experience

• Excellent understanding of financial processes preferably in the services industry

• Fully qualified ACMA

• Strong Excel skills required

• Knowledge of commercial decision making
