In detail

We’ll look to you to bring fresh thinking, insight and the ability to manage complex relationships, working alongside each Business Head to define their business division’s direction for tomorrow.

Reporting to the very top of our business – Sony Corp in Japan – you will have the freedom, scope and support to set new standards in how a service-based business defines success. It’s an exciting challenge, with scope for creativity and incredible impact. 

Day-to-day, we’ll expect you to get under the skin of each business, establishing KPIs, processes and business strategies to increase profitability. Responsibilities include:

• Ensuring compliance across PSE.

• Developing services based reporting analysis and business control.

• Leading the Operations function to maximise product availability and stock efficiency.

• Overseeing sales administration services.

• Management P&L, forecasting and budgeting processes.

• Developing and implementing new financing and cash flow management options.

Who you are   Having delivered successes in a service-based business, you’re ready to take on a more creative, strategic role. Your skills and experience will include:

• Implementing and developing management information systems for control and growth for a services business, including due diligence.
• Commercial decision making, including negotiating large value sales contracts outside standard terms and conditions, of value up to £100million.
• Significant M&A experience, reflecting a thoughtful approach to securing effective integration between all the ‘moving parts’
• ACA, CIMA, ACCA qualification, and substantial PQE in a services based business
