Our client is a market leading, international pharmaceutical group looking to recruit a Regional Finance Director for a high profile role within their Thames Valley office.

Detailed Job Description
Reporting to the European CFO with a strong dotted line directly into the Regional VP, you will have full P&L responsibility for a high profile and highly profitable region with a turnover into the hundreds of millions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Accurate financial control, budgeting, business analysis and financial forecasting, including 5 year planning, for the region
- Deliver country revenue and OPEX management through tight tracking versus objectives, gap analysis and recommendations. Own and drive action plans to deliver objectives
- Provide insightful Finance analysis which accelerates revenue growth whilst identifying OPEX reduction opportunities e.g. marketing investment ROI analysis
- Motivate and manage multiple direct reports across both finance and operational areas such as supply chain and facilities management. Responsible for hiring decisions, training and development and appraisals of this team.
- Lead and manage the forecast process across the affiliates – monthly sales forecast, quarterly business reviews and annual long-term sales forecast.
- Own management information providing both clarity on the company's financial position and insights for business partners.
Candidate's Profile
- A Qualified Accountant (ACACIMA, ACCA) with a strong academic profile and top class degree from a leading university
- Broad finance leadership covering full range of finance disciplines within the Pharmaceutical sector and has operated already at Director level
- Pharmaceutical Supply chain and/or Commercial experience within a complex, international group is desirable
- Excellent experience in leading and motivating teams
- Able to handle multiple priorities and critical decision making within tight time constraints
- Ability and keen interest in challenging business partners and the status quo whilst maintaining strong working relationships
- A flexible approach to a small amount of international travel
- First class communication and presentational skills, with the ability to build relationships and gain credibility across the group
