Interim Reconciliations Accountant

Our client is a fast-paced, growing retailer, based in Angel. Due to an increased workload for the FD, a temporary position has been created for a period of 6 weeks (minimum). This role will be paying c£200 per day to the successful candidate.

To apply, you must be experienced in using SAGE 200. This a key pre-requisite.

Primary purpose of the role

You will be responsible for completing the reconciliations side of finance to make sure that all the checks and balances are done, as well as making sure our suppliers are paid on time and getting involved in almost all areas of operational finance. You will need to interact and communicate directly with the operational teams, the suppliers and all levels of people within the business.

Key roles & responsibilities include:
- Bank reconciliations
- Posting sales and reconciling against the cash into the business
- Posting COGS and reconciling orders to invoices
- Producing payment runs and sending out remittances
- Looking after a small sales ledger
- Posting petty cash and expenses
- Helping the commercial accountant at month end
