Badenoch & Clark are currently sourcing candidates to assume the role of Financial Analyst within a well-established company based out of Crawley. As Financial Analyst, you will be accountable for the delivery of timely and accurate financial reporting in aid of supplementing the wider business' financial performance. This role would suit a candidate who is either in the final stages of their qualifications or fully qualified.
As well as being responsible for the production of the short and long term financial forecasts, you will also be required to undertake business partnering responsibilities in order to help improve operational processes throughout the company. As such, you must have demonstrable management accounting experience, sound commercial acumen and the capacity to adequately convey all necessary information.
Key Accountabilities:
*Responsible for the month end reporting requirements including; month end journals, allocations, accruals, balance sheet account reconciliations and revenue/cost analysis related activities
*Responsible for the annual and long-term financial forecasts/budgets (P&L account, balance sheet etc)
*Review the balance sheet accounts in the monthly trial balance reports and take any appropriate actions as a result of the review.
*Prepare cashflow forecasts.
*Lead business process troubleshooting and enhancement initiatives
*Support all external requirements (statutory audits, tax, etc) and work with the Statutory Specialist to ensure all information deliverables are met.
*Participate in business process troubleshooting and enhancement initiatives
Due to the nature of the role, the suitable applicant will have the following:
*Professional accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA/ACA or equivalent)
*Proven management accounting skills and experience
*Extensive knowledge of financial analysis.
