Management Accountant

A highly profitable and market leading multi-site retail business, currently turning over c.£500m, is looking to appoint a qualified Management Accountant.

The business is extremely successful with lots of interesting activity from a finance perspective, including acquisitions & integrations, a large & complex group structure and lots of change. In terms of businesses and opportunities in the area there are few that are more successful or bigger.

As well as the typical reporting duties, this broad role will incorporate commercial analysis, as well as elements of business partnering.

Key duties will include;

- Co-ordinate the preparation of monthly management accounts
- Co-ordinate the budgeting and forecasting process
- Produce the Year End management accounts in line with the year-end timetable
- Provide ad hoc financial and performance analysis
- Provide financial support for capital investment decisions
- Assist with the motivation, coaching and development of the team
- Liaising with non-finance partners internally and externally
- Assist in the production of statutory accounts
- Any ad hoc projects required by the senior management team
