The role will work in partnership with the organisation's capital growth team, analysing and advising on potential new opportunities for development on a national level. Through the costing of new projects and then the deliverance of those projects, you will play an integral role in driving forward an already extremely successful PLC.

You will need to be a strong Business Partner and someone who is able to forge strong relationships across the organisation, and you will have responsibility for assisting this team with Budgeting, forecasting, understanding variances on circa £30m of spend and sales. Just a selection of your tasks will include;
*Responsible for all month end tasks relating to the capital growth segment;
*Development spend analysis/ reforecast
*Sales tracker analysis/ reforecast
*Monthly P&Ls
*Profit on sale of land
*Responsible for the preparation of Budgets and Forecasts in conjunction with development managers on our major development sites
*Attend and participate in Capital Growth Segment monthly management meetings
*Co-ordination of Budgets and monthly rolling forecasts for development spend and sales by site
*Report on a monthly basis spend and sales against Budget
*Develop and monitor a system of recording and monitoring commercial and financial obligations arising from sales
*Demonstrable professional capability in the construction and review of financial models, that can facilitate informed decision making at senior levels.
*Internal controls and approval processes.
*Carry out review of current purchase order process and then implement improvements

Ideally you will be Qualified, however a Passed Finalist or strong Part Qual will be considered.
