Newly created fast paced commercial finance role for a top global Digital business. You will report into the Finance Director and CFO and head up the Commercial finance team.
You will need to be confident and credible as the main part of this role is building relationships with client teams and negotiating rates and terms of business directly with the client.
Business partnering with heads of departments in the Agency is key to provide them with commercial and strategic knowledge and advice.
They need an ambitious individual, as they are a growing business with plenty of opportunity for progression and promotions.
The role
- Work closely with the Finance/ FP&A team/ procurement and lawyers
- Revenue recognition and analysis
- Drive Agency growth and profitability
- Build new business models, KPI's and pricing and product strategy
- Involvement with new client pitches
- Managing numerous client projects at a time
- Negotiating contracts and terms of business with the client
- Implement new procedures and strategies as you see fit
The person
- Ideally Fully qualified but open to part qualified or qualified by experience
- Experience in an advertising/ marketing environment (desirable)
- Strong experience with client contracts and working with internal lawyers
- Extensive experience with revenue recognition
- Attention to detail
- Comfortable in a client facing role
- Natural commercial thinker
- Initiative, drive and ambition
- Experience with SOX compliance
