Established for over twenty years, this SME Oxford client has maintained exceptionally high customer retention by maintaining professionalism, knowledge and experience. To support business growth and to clear a backlog of work a Part Time Bookkeeper is required to assist the finance team.

Reporting to the Finance Manager duties will include

  • General Bookkeeping in Sage
  • Assisting with preparation and reconciliation of VAT
  • Bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Assisting with Payroll
  • Preparing management accounts
  • Occasionally answering incoming calls
  • Filing
  • Occasionally processing purchase and sales invoices and supplier statements to include invoice checking and credit control

You will need to have confident communication skills, excellent attention to detail accuracy and be a team player. Organised and a self-starter who can use their own initiative and be committed.

Working in a small friendly team hours will be 15 to 20 per week, the client is flexible on how many days you wish to work.

A hands on person is required who can hit the ground running and is helpful and doesn’t mind getting stuck in. Would suit a returner to work or someone who is looking for a part time.

You can be paid via PAYE or you can invoice at £15 per hour.
