Having seen revenues grow significantly our client is seeking a talented, ambitious and entrepreneurial individual who is interested in developing their career in the much sought after restructuring and recovery space.
The Role
As a leader in the Restructuring and Recovery team this is a fantastic opportunity to marry not only your restructuring, transaction services and due diligence experience but to add to that your entrepreneurial flair for business development and position yourself from day one as a "fee earner".
The purpose of this role is to advise and take a lead on developing further the firms M&A capabilities, acting as a specialist consultant to an already established and impressive client base. The day to day will see you providing comprehensive due diligence and leading on transactions with the support of the Directors around you. You will draft high quality documents and position yourself as the key point of contact with clients on all matters.
In addition, there will be a requirement to contribute to deal origination, which will include networking and client entertainment, pitching or assisting on pitches including research, document production and presentation.
This is an excellent opportunity to further strengthen your advisory skills in a client facing ambitious environment, working with highly respected and directors.
The Person
As a Qualified accountant you will have gained experience in restructuring/corporate recovery or transactions and ideally have had exposure of working with construction, property and real estate clients. Comfortable working independently as well as in a high performing team you will possess excellent financial skills, analytical rigour and a demonstrable track record of success is critical. With excellent client facing skills you will also need to be able to anticipate client's needs and be able deliver or manage expectations accordingly.
