Group Reporting Manager

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an accomplished Group Reporting Manager to assume a high profile role within the group function of a FTSE 100 business.  Based in central London but operating internationally, the organisation continues to change and evolve, presenting real opportunities for top performers to progress.

Group Financial Reporting is responsible for the delivery of timely, accurate and relevant financial information for the Group to the Audit Committee, Board and to external shareholders.  The team is responsible for the preparation of weekly and monthly Group management information; external financial information by way of the interim and annual financial statements, together with other related shareholder communication.  The team also owns the group consolidation process and provides ad hoc technical accounting support for the rest of the business.

This role will provide key support to the Head of Group Reporting in ensuring financial information is reported timely and accurately across all channels and will be proactive in helping to drive change to existing processes and ways of working with a clear objective of optimizing the use of systems.  The successful candidate will be personable with a very strong background in technical financial accounting and its application in the commercial world.  The candidate will have demonstrated the ability to lead and develop a team and will have the confidence to make recommendations.

Candidates will, likely, be Top 4 trained and either at Manager level within practice or already working in a group reporting capacity in a similarly complex listed business.
