Senior Finance Business Partner

Are you a Commercial Finance Manager keen to business partner a Commercial Business Director within a market leading retail business?

This role provides an amazing opportunity to genuinely influence the strategy of an entire function, by providing detailed analysis on financial performance and insight on initiatives, promotions and projects. Constantly challenging the business on their performance and key areas to focus on.

You will need to be Qualified (CIMA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) with at least 3-4 years PQE in a commercial business partnering role supporting senior stakeholders analysing sales, margin, costs and balance sheet.

Breaking down this role it's pure business partnering, split 60% Commercial and 40% FP&A, working across short, medium and long term deadlines and planning.

You will be expected to bring well-rehearsed tools and techniques to communicate complex financial analysis in layman's terms to a non-finance audience. Dealing with ambiguity and being able to draw conclusions from often incomplete data and present a reasoned argument about the implications of the data.

Personality is going to be key in a business that prides itself on it's collaborative culture, together with strong influencing skills to ensure data is used and interpreted in the right way so the senior management team understands the key drivers of business performance to aid key commercial decisions.

Any experience in a retail or consumer focused environment is considered highly desirable.
