Michael Page are working with a large manufacturing business based in Wakefield who are looking to appoint a Financial Accountant.
Client Details
Our client are a large manufacturing business based in Wakefield who have consistently grown organically and by acquisition in recent years.
Operating in a competitive sector they lead from the front and as such have an opportunity within their Finance team for a Financial Accountant.
Description
The role will involve but is not limited to;
Ensure accounting policies and controls are continuously reviewed, maintained and policed.
Responsible for a section of the balance sheet and certain P&L accounts
Preparation of monthly balance sheet reconciliations in line with the internal control framework.
Completion of internal control documents.
Assist in management of budgets and forecasting
Profile
You will be a driven self-starter and ideally a qualified/finalist of ACCA/CIMA/ACA
You must also be able to partner with other areas of a business outside of Finance and be able to work well in a team.
